The R-GRID project has become a content partner of the 10th Scientific Conference „Energy Security – Pillars and Development Perspective”, which will be held in Rzeszów on 8–9 September 2025.
On the first day of the conference, a thematic panel titled „Blackout as a Challenge – Crisis Scenarios and the Resilience of Power Systems” will take place. Participants in the panel will include:
- Dr. Eng. Krzysztof Łowczowski from Poznań University of Technology, member of the Polish Association for National Security,
- Dominik P. Jankowski, Director of the Committee on Economics and Security of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and Vice-Chair of the NATO Energy Planning Group,
- Julian Wieczorkiewicz, Policy Officer, Climate and Energy Security Section, NATO,
- Dr. Witold Skomra, Government Centre for Security, Warsaw University of Technology.
On the same day, a second panel titled „Emerging Technologies: Importance for the Defence and Energy Sector” will be held. One of the speakers will be Dr. Tomasz Michalak, member of the R-GRID project team, Associate Professor at the University of Warsaw, and affiliated with the IDEAS Research Institute.
The conference will also feature an accompanying event organized by the R-GRID project, titled R-GRID – Power Grid Threat and Protection Simulator, during which selected functionalities of the R-GRID simulator will be presented.”
